Hello! My name is Tayleigh Urbanski and I’m so excited to help you celebrate any special occasion you have! The dessert is SO important to a party, it’s one of the main things people remember!

 

Let me tell you a little about myself and my baking journey, I want you to know who I am so you’re so comfortable with me baking for you.

 

I am 25 years old and live in Toledo, Ohio. I’ve been in Toledo my whole life and I love it! I went to Sylvania Schools from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation. I’ve always loved baking, when I was just 1 year old I was helping my grandma in the kitchen whenever she was making any type of dessert. As I got older I started to bake and decorate cakes for family functions. I did take a break while I was in junior high and high school as I was busy with school work, musical theatre and choir. I still made cookies and such whenever I could, but cake baking was put on the back burner. 

 

After I graduated high school I started working in a salon as a nail technician. I attended Northview’s Cosmetology Program and gained my cosmetology license. I worked in the industry for about 6 years but decided to leave the profession as it didn’t work with my personal life anymore. I am now working in the sylvania school district and starting to bake again. 

 

I am recently married! I got married this past November. My husband and I have been together for 6 1/2 years and we are so excited to experience all that marriage has to offer. 

 

There is also some history with the name BabyCakes! Ever since I was a little girl my papa has called me babycakes. I grew up with that being my nickname from him and I love that I am able incorporate it into my business.
